*Each participant of seminars will have a free admission ticket to SportsExpo 2019. No additional registration of SportsExpo 2019 is needed.

Precious Moments in Hiking

Date: 17 August (Saturday)

Speaker: Founder of Active Atoms Club – Mr. Fung Ka Fai
Summary: Hiking is a popular choice for many during weekends and holidays, especially since hikers have the freedom to choose their level of route difficulty. Although the path may be rugged and rocky, the final view is always breathtaking. In this seminar, the speaker will share his hiking experience together with the amusing moments to arouse your interest in this healthy activity. Hiking is no doubt a great escape from the city’s busy pace.

Running around the World

Date: 17 August (Saturday)

Speaker: Renowned Overseas Marathon Lover – Uncle Shrimp
Summary: As running gains increasing popularity among the health-conscious, more people are joining overseas races in addition to local ones. These international marathons are ideal stages to compete amongst the best and against one’s personal best. In this seminar, Uncle Shrimp will share his passion for running, and how you could effortlessly join overseas races too.

2 Wheels, To View

Date: 17 August (Saturday)

Speaker: Former Hong Kong Cycling Team – Mr. Kenji Leung
Summary: “Once you’ve conquered, everything else becomes trivial,” shares former Hong Kong Cycling Team member, Kenji Leung, who always makes room for cycling even during the busiest time. Kenji often spends his holidays exploring on his beloved “two wheels” rather than the common traveler's play and dine itinerary. In this seminar, Kenji will take you on a tour of Okinawa on his bike, sharing the ups and downs of his two wheels excursion.

Journey to the 6 World Marathon Majors

Date: 18 August (Sunday)
Time: 11:10 am – 12:10 pm
Speaker: Runners who have completed the 6 World Marathon Majors in sub-3 – Ms. Mok Chi Ling, Mr. Kam Mo Yeung, Mr. Dick Dick Chan
Summary: World Marathon Majors refers to the six most renowned marathons, including the Boston, London, Berlin, Chicago, New York City and Tokyo Marathons. It is a goal of many runners to complete all these races, and aspire to become sub-3 runners. In this seminar, three sub-3 runners, Mok Chi Ling, Kam Mo Yeung and Dick Dick Chan, will each bring their unique World Marathon Majors experience on stage.

  2. Participants are advised to arrange their own insurance cover.
  3. The Organizers reserve the right to contact participants for information regarding their enrolment.
  4. Participants must show the email notice regarding the event to our staff for verification. 
  5. The quota will be cancelled if the participants do not show up 15 minutes after the start of the event.
  6. The Organizers reserve the rights to refuse any entry to participate for any inappropriate behaviour.
  7. Participants are required to take care of their personal property during the event. The organizer is not responsible for any loss incurred from their participation in the workshop.
  8. Organizer reserves the rights to cancel, change or delay the activity on-site due to the adverse weather condition.
  9. All matters and disputes are subject to the final decision of the organizers.
  10. In the event of any discrepancy between the English and Chinese versions of these Terms & Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.
